Save water by saving food - the water we waste
When we think about food waste, we think about what ends up in the trash, the end product, but we don’t really think about the resources that were needed to produceit in the first place.
Food waste also means wasting valuable resources such as water. The amount of water we waste in food it’s such that the global water footprint of food waste is higher than that of any country (FAO, 2013). But this also means that we can fight this issue by saving food!
