19 November 2020 - Food app with a conscience, Too Good To Go, and Brakes Scotland have launched a new partnership to tackle food waste in the country.

The new relationship will see Brakes Scotland encouraging customers to reduce their food waste through a number of ways, including selling their surplus food through the Too Good To Go app. Too Good To Go has also been included in Brakes Scotland’s recent virtual engagement event, which is open for all foodservice customers until 8th January 2021 and can be found online at: https://www.brake.co.uk/virtual-food-event/brakes-scotland

Too Good To Go lets people buy surplus food and drink from pubs, restaurants, retailers and producers to stop it from going to waste. Consumers simply download the free Too Good To Go app and search for nearby businesses with unsold produce. They then purchase a ‘Magic Bag’, collect it at an allotted time and enjoy it.
